We are feeble beings that despite our many incredible accomplishments, we have very small, low powered brains. We have the ability to retain many things but we have to go to special lengths to make information reach our long-term memory.
As graphic designers, we are most effective by understanding the challenges that humans have to remember what they have be privy to, then making attempts to produce work that is unforgettable to our audience.
